If you’re feeling a little nervous about your upcoming studies, don’t worry, it’s completely natural! We have both staff and current students to help you, as well as a wide range of resources to help you make a successful transition to university life.
Work Your Way In Keele’s Induction Module
There is an introductory module in the Keele Learning Environment (KLE) which will help you get started with life as a Keele student – such as the services available to you, how to use all the different digital platforms at Keele, reading lectures and videos that walk through the processes you’ll need to know (eg how to submit assignments). Please review all resources before the start of term and refer to them throughout the year if you have any questions.
Start the induction module soon on our Induction webpage and continue it in the KLE (don’t worry, the first video explains how to do it).

Keele University Resource
Want to find someone on your path or living in your residences? Then try the Keele University Student Life 2021/22 (Official Group), run by Keele. Be careful not to give out too much personal information about yourself online. For example, only give your block rather than the room number if you are trying to find other students living in your hallways.
Get Familiar with The Keele
Our events and activities start before the school year. Also, The Keele app is the perfect place to find out about them! Take a look at the “What’s New” section to see the events we will be hosting virtually. These are optional, but we encourage you to participate as much as possible to help you begin your transition to Keele. There are also many other sections which are also useful. So, while you are preparing, including the ‘Life in Keele’ section which gives you a quick overview of the key services available to you as a Keele.
Peer Support Schemes At Keele
At Keele University they offer a high range of stare mentoring schemes to help you through your higher master’s education journey. We encourage new students to enroll in the Welcome Buddies plan – this is a great chance to talk about university life with an experienced and seasoned student from Keele.
