Moong is a pulse crop which is grown after the Kharif crop. Moong is mainly produced in Rajasthan because the climate of Rajasthan is most suitable for the cultivation of moong. Soil, Climate & Temperature

Cultivation of moong can be done in any soil, but sandy loam soil is considered very suitable for its crop.
